In this game your goal is to help a bird feed a mouse, in doing so players must employ their ability to successfully discriminate between two tones. This type of tonal discrimination is a fundamental of understanding spoken language.

Warning: Some of these games no longer work on modern browsers. Your best bet for getting them to work is to use the Firefox web browser and install Adobe Shockwave. Over the next year we will be re-doing each game, please be patient with us.

Instructions

  1. Click on the birds to make them chirp.
  2. Decide which of the sitting birds sounds like the flying bird.
  3. Take the acorn from the sitting bird and put it in the flying bird’s feet.
  4. If you are right, the flying bird will give her acorn to the mouse.
